The local government finance commission officials together with YOYA technologies LTD launched a revenue management system called Integrated Revenue Administration System (IRAS) in Iganga Municipal Council on 29^th November 2022. This was witnessed by the Town Clerk Mr. Lwanga Edward, Technical planning committee members, Deputy Mayor Hon. Baita Stephen, division Town Clerks among others.

YOYA Technologies LTD was contracted to rollout IRAS in Iganga Municipal Council and they are mandated to do the following:

• Training of users
• Mass registration of customers
• E-valuation
• Technical support for a period of one year
• Provide 20 point of sales machines.

IRAS is a locally developed, affordable and accessible revenue management system that is both web and mobile enabled. The development of IRAS is based on the new technology, approaches and best practices providing the required capability for local governments to transform their tax and revenue collections into a fully integrated customer centric service.
