The Town Clerk Mr. Kasala Daniel officially handed over instruments of power to the new Town Clerk Mrs. Turyasasirwa Edith as this was witnessed by His worship Mayor Bamu Lulenzi, Mayor Masindi Municipal Council, Hon. Councillors, the media fraternity and staff of Iganga Municipal council on 16^th July 2024

Mr. Kasala Daniel was transferred to Masindi Municipal council after serving in Iganga Municipal council for a period of over one year as Town Clerk. The new Town Clerk Mrs. Turyasasirwa Edith was transferred from Mukono District Local government where she has been working as a deputy Chief Executive Officer.

 Mr. Kasala Daniel welcomed the new Town Clerk to Iganga Municipal Council and wished her success. He also highlighted some the achievements done for the entity during his term in office. He finally thanked the staff and the politicians for their good working relationships.

The new Town Clerk in her speech thanked the outgoing Town Clerk for welcoming her to the new station and all the achievements done to the entity during his term of office. She also promised to have good working relationships with both the staff and the politicians.

His worship the Mayor welcomed the new Town clerk to the new station and thanked her for accepting to come and work in Iganga Municipal council. The Mayor also thanked the outgoing Town Clerk for his good working relationship and wished him success.
